Pam J Bluem

Pam J Bluem

Pam J Bluem, age 56 of Arkansaw, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Pam was born on May 14, 1969 to Wilber and Vicki Vogler in Eau Claire. Her mother and father precede her in death. Pam grew up in Eau Claire and graduated from North High. She lived in Eau Claire and then the Eleva Strum area before residing in Arkansaw. At home, Pam enjoyed her time by taking care of and watching the antics of her feathered “friends”, somewhere between 80-90 various breeds of chickens. Her love of animals continued with four cats and three dogs. She was currently in the middle of starting “Alice’s Acres of Lavender Farm.” At this time, Pam had over 2000 lavender plants in four different varieties. Pam shared her time doing all of this with her husband, Chad Bluem.

Pam was a fun caring and spirited wife with many friends. Pam loved being outdoors and was active riding ATV and UTV along with kayaking and just sitting by the fire with family and friends.

Pam was the mother of Tanner Vogler, Fallyn Vogler and Emma Vogler. Tanner Vogler and Kayla Ballstadt proved her the ability to be a grandmother to her only grandchildren, Ruth. Pam enjoyed being up north at the family lodge with a large number of family members, always wishing for more time to spend there.

For those that were lucky enough to know Pam throughout her life, ended up having a friend for life. She was a caring person with a dash of wild at times. Pam could easily make people laugh with her interesting vocabulary of which she truly inherited from her father. Like describing “that woobly wobble part next to that thingy do hicky spinner deal.” Pam had a knack for procrastination but a flare for cooking. She loved to be the one running the grill. Pam liked trivia and could tell you things that you just couldn’t believe she taught you. Things like a possum have 13 nipples or wombats poop cubes. She is laughing right now that you all know that! Pam will be truly missed by everyone.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00AM – 6:00PM Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the Clear Creek Town Hall, S12455 N Raven Dr, Strum, WI 54770.

Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Durand, is serving the family.

This news makes me very sad. Pam was my daughter Ann’s best fried through jr. high, high school and beyond. She was always “spunky” and fun, and kept life interesting. Whenever I ran into her in the past few years she would talk of her work with the elderly and how much she enjoyed being a “caregiver” no matter what the job entailed. Rest my girl. I’m sure that right now you and your mom are talking about her collection of HO HO’s and having a great time.
