Dear Dave, Erin, Jenny, and Sue and your entire extended family. I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. Mary Kay has been a dear friend of mine for 53 years. Just saw her for dinner with another high school friend Sept 30th. I met Mary Kay our Sophomore year in high school. We were on Poms together, we stayed in touch after high school, I knew her mom well, decades of memories. It's so heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you and during this difficult time and in the days to come. She was such a bright light in all of our lives. She is now a bright star shining with the Angels. I'm sure she is up there teaching all of them a dance step or two. God Bless all of you! ~Barb (Kroll) Kutz

The Markovich girls had/have the best smiles. I’m very happy that I was able to reconnect with Mary Kay over the past few years again through folklore. The best thing about friendships is that time doesn’t matter. Even after 25 years you continue on where you left off. Mary Kay will be missed by many in her Serbian community. My deepest sympathies to Mary Kay’s entire extended family. May her memory be eternal.
